She can shed her skin to move between having normal human skin or a snake-like skin (usually with a camouflage pattern). When she sheds her skin in this way, she looses all her hair and it has to regrow. She can move quickly when striking or use phenomenal strength to crush someone. However, when she hits someone there is only her normal strength behind the blow. The additional strength is only evident when she gets someone in a constrictive hold. She can grow poisonous claws if she has the time to focus on them. Cold tends to lead her to falling asleep and she needs heat to process her food. Her personal rooms are all strictly temperature controlled though she claims this is for the plethora of pet snakes she lets roam free there. Etcetera Family :: Deceased Personal History :: Evelyn was the princess of the manor. Her parents doted on her and gave her anything she wanted, when they were around. They were very busy people, especially since some of their dealings were not so nice. They worked with military contracts, building weapons, and poisons, and had some dealing with organized crime. They weren’t too sure about their daughter’s interest in snakes but decided to indulge her. That was before she came into her mutant powers. It was such a small thing at first, her eyes changed. So she took to wearing sunglasses everywhere. The skin coming off was a little more difficult to hide. Eventually her parents found out about their daughter’s abnormality and decided that a nice trip to Australia was in order. A trip they didn’t expect to bring their daughter back from. Evelyn turned the tables on them, summoning and ordering some snakes to swarm her parents while they were in the outback. It was seen as a tragic accident and Evelyn was considered lucky not to have died. Since then she has learned enough to take over her parent’s companies (kept in trust) and be just as ruthless as they had ever been. She collects and keeps poisonous snakes from around the world, and is just as studied in their care and needs as any herpetologist. She is looking for a way to make sure that mutants, and her most especially, will be the ones to inherit the world. Subtly of course. Magneto’s march just always seemed like a bad idea to her. Currently she has people studying the “cure” in the hopes of seeing if it can be maneuvered into enhancing mutant abilities. She is more than willing to help fund projects to help mutants.
